My Style and Thoughts on Comedy.
In my comedy bits I often talk about my life, primarily the embarrassing parts with some social commentary mixed in for flavor, similar to Jim Jefferies or Louis C.K.
I believe comedy is one of the last pure forms of free speech in America and is also vital to keeping some form of balance or perspective on life. It's unapologetic and is definitely fighting the politically correct tug of war.
I'm privileged to have the opportunity to perform standup comedy. It took me a long time to get the nerve to step into that arena and it's been a fun ride, even in the early stages of this career.
It took years, but I'm here!
Although I had been on many stages, performed in front of thousands of people, I could not raise the courage to try standup comedy. I spent years watching my favorites like Louis C.K., Eddie Murphy, John Caparulo, Richard Pryor and the great one, George Carlin. In the summer of 2015, I gave it a shot. A few months later I was being signed on by Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank, CA, to be one of their comedies. Since then I've performed at a variety of venues up and down the west coast.
